About the Pub

The site used to be a pub over 100 years ago, The Albion. The name was chosen as the owners discovered a dead pigeon whilst decorating the pub. On opening day, 19th October 2018, four ales were on sale served by gravity from a temperature controlled cellar up two stairs at the back. All Kent based products with a lager from Curious Brew. Spirits from Copper Rivet Distillery, Chatham. Draught Guinness sold too. Going forward, plans are to offer food and a limited menu of hot pies and hot dogs has already been introduced. Two televisions are mounted on the walls but were at a low volume so certainly not disturbing conversation. Seating is at bar stools or high tables and stools on the main bar floor. Normal height seating is on the raised area to the rear, which may also double as a stage for events.. Another welcome outlet to Medway's pubs. Card payments accepted.

October 2019 Mostly serve Key keg, cans and bottles. Real ale occasionally, with a handpump on the bar.
