NOTICE: Venues need your support more than ever during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
A nationwide lockdown is currently in place in England, and you are required by law to stay at home. Hospitality venues can still provide food takeaway and delivery services, but can only sell alcohol by delivery service.
But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.
If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.

About the Pub
Closed 7/10/2020 and to-let, future uncertain. In March 2017, a planning application has been lodged to to build two houses on part of the current car park. It is hidden away somewhat, so look for an A-board sign advertising the pub at the junction for Redford Drive. This is a large house set on two levels. Upon entering, there is a 'chill-out' area furnished with relaxing sofas for coffee and such on the left, then comes the main bar and stand-up drinking area. This is flanked by a small lounge popular with older folk, and to the rear a pool table, darts board and TV viewing area. Meanwhile on the right, at a higher level is a large high-ceilinged room which houses the dining area; this has its own bar counter too. Beyond that is the conservatory where one can enjoy the lush greenery of the glade outside. A real community facility this, it plays host to occasional local singers, and there's a pub quiz every Sunday evening from 9pm. It supports Childline with charity events such as beer and meat raffles. A ladies, and mixed darts team play here too. Meal deal for pensioners - two courses for a low price. They have four pumps for changing guest ales, two of which aim to be beers sourced from the SIBA list (ie. from independent brewers). History: Built in the 1980s, opening Easter weekend 1985 as a Tetley house.
