About the Pub
23/10/2021 - Planning Application DC/083053 submitted for the demolition of existing single-storey lean-to and construction of a new single-storey extension to the bar. Installation of a flat roof to convert the existing ground floor courtyard into additional internal space for the bar kitchen.
Historic Interest
History: As Vinabod (a Viking-themed tapas bar), it opened 14/6/2019, then closed 13/1/2020. This was a project by Jill Williams (and formerly Dan Scott); the unusual combination of tapas and Viking is down to Dan growing up in Spain and having a long-term interest in Norse mythology.
