About the Pub

A relaxed, family friendly pub serving great food cooked by a French chef, complimented by three real ales which change regularly, sourced from local breweries as well as more distant ones. Beers may not always be familiar, so may be purchased in small quantities as three third pint glasses in a wooden tray. Once through the front door the light and airy restaurant is to the left and contains a baby grand piano in the far corner, waiting to be played. A separate drinking area is to the right; note the curious sideways installation of the sash window. To the rear is a child and dog friendly beer garden. Happy hour Tuesday-Friday 5-7. A beer festival is held on the weekend of St Georges day with a large number of military vehicles in attendance. The hourly bus 5 from Maidstone stops outside the door.
