About the Pub

An historic pub in the town centre which has had several names in recent years but is now The Stag. Re-decorated externally and internally in a mid-grey. The beams have been stripped to original colours. May be entered from either the High Street or via Bank Street to the room at the rear which is used as a restaurant area. Three steps lead down to the toilets. Four casks on gravity dispense; three are usually available. Very reasonable prices. Two fires may be used in winter. A dress code is in place.
