About the Pub

This idiosyncratic pub attracts a diverse clientele and is situated near the foot of Lindum Hill. The decoration is Art Deco in style and a side room has reclaimed cinema seating. The colours in the sparkly-topped bar tables reflect in the crystal-clear beers. Music is a major feature, with a juke box, regular live sessions and quizzes. The walls usually host artworks, often available for purchase. The large, rear courtyard has seating and a covered area where bands perform in summer. There is a dartboard and table football. Real perry and ciders are always available and good-value meals are served. Reopened while premises sale under negotiation. Open Monday 16th September.
