About the Pub
Traditional town pub in existence since at least 1779 but largely rebuilt in the 1900s. George Ridgeway, landlord in early 1950s had been Mayor of Ashby. Weekly programme of live entertainment, based around its sports teams. Darts and Dominoes Mondays, Quiz night Tuesdays Pool on Wednesdays.Genuine freehouse.
