About the Pub

Triangular-shaped pub down a cul-de-sac. The narrow main bar area has a tiled floor and to the right hand end is the small snug. Surrounded by new buildings, this locally important historic non-listed Victorian building has an unusual triangular shape. There are two rooms: the wedge shaped bar and small snug to the right of the entrance. Located off Kirkstall Road, the pub can also be accessed by a long flight of steps from Burley Street. A planning application to demolish this traditional, welcoming pub was rejected in November 2017.
