Reopening from 4th July
Reservations will be necessary - even if you’re only visiting for drinks.
This gives us a detailed record of all visitors should there be a need to track and trace.
It also ensures that we do not overcrowd and will allow all patrons the necessary space to safely enjoy their visit.
For tables indoors, the maximum size is 6ppl and everyone seated must all be part of one or two different households.
For tables outdoors, the maximum size can be 8ppl but they must all be part of one or two different households.
For a mixture of people from more than two households, you can book a table of a maximum size for 6ppl outdoors only.
Providing we have the capacity, you will be more than welcome to stay for longer.

About the Pub

Traditional family-friendly community pub with a large lounge, central bar and restaurant area to one side with traditional pub games and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The pub has six handpumps in total with three house beers (by Timothy Taylor, Castle Rock and their own Plungington Bitter) and three changing guest beers often including unusual beers from micro-breweries.

Possibly the largest beer garden in Preston with some sheltered seating and a large grass area, which plays host to an annual gin festival (last two years) which as well as over 100 gins also served several guest real ales and ciders.

OAPs and NHS staff enjoy a 20% discount on food Tue-Fri lunchtimes.
