NOTICE: Venues need your support more than ever during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
A nationwide lockdown is currently in place in England, and you are required by law to stay at home. Hospitality venues can still provide food takeaway and delivery services, but can only sell alcohol by delivery service.
But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.
If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.

About the Pub
The Grapes is a Grade II listed building dating from the late C18 and early C19. It is believed to have held the local courtroom upstairs and still retains a room with original cell bars. It is in a prime position on the main street through the village opposite the ancient parish church and pack horse bridge over the River Yarrow. The layout has three rooms around a central bar and a separate restaurant to the rear. There is ample seating outside. Food from the extensive menu is served in the restaurant and throughout the pub. There is a function room on the first floor. There are ongoing plans to convert the residential accommodation into a B&B. In common with other pubs in Croston there is a boules pitch where the pub team plays in the Croston & District Boules League.
