About the Pub

Multi-award winning local that has featured in the Good Beer Guide for over 10 years. A showcase for new breweries with ever changing ales sourced countrywide, including dedicated pumps for Taylors, Mallinsons and a dark beer. No jukebox, pool table or games machine, lively conversation around the bar and a real fire during winter months. The ambience is summed up by the sign that reads "Be Nice or Leave". Three beer festivals are held annually, featuring all hand-pulled beers.
