About the Pub
Historic Interest
Originally called the Weir Hotel, it made an appearance in a 1964 episode of The Edgar Wallace Mystery Theatre entitled Who Was Maddox. An exterior shot shows the name of the hotel, and that it sold Courage and Barclay beers.
