About the Pub
The main lounge bar is usually lively with conversation and to the side is a separate dining room. Further inside is a snug and also a large comfortable conservatory often used for local meetings, functions and live music/discos, opening out onto a large beer garden. The snug bar features football shirts. The pub was completely refurbished and redecorated during the lockdown of Spring of 2020.
On New Year's Day it hosts traditional celebrations of Border Morris and a Mummer's Play that draws a large crowd.
