NOTICE: Venues need your support more than ever during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
Under this stage of the roadmap in England pubs can only open outdoor areas and many will only be open for customers who have pre-booked. Alcohol can now also be sold for takeaway, as well as delivery
But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.

About the Pub
A true local on every level - the little pub with the big heart!
Historic Interest
Built 1741 for Thomas Barker, church sexton and one of a handful of remaining pubs in England to be built on consecrated land. Has three rooms, including a tiny snug. The central lobby still has its off-sales hatch and a piece of Victorian bench seating in the bar room. There was a small draught screen affixed to the counter which was removed about 30 years ago. The bar walls are half panelled. The snug has a partition wall on the bar side, an old hatch, old half panelled walls. On the external windows in the lounge bar are various inscriptions - one is dated 1824.
