About the Pub
Industrial chic conversion of an overseer's cottage in former mill complex that is a now a hub for art, craft and small commercial units. The Tap showcases a wide range of styles and interesting craft kegs alongside traditional real ales all served in excellent condition. Opened in 2015 and Westmorland pub of the year 2017, it continues to gain popularity with local groups, dog-walkers and visiting CAMRA branches. Regular music and specialist food events. Well-designed upstairs function room. Sunny terrace in front and large, partially covered back 'garden'. Beer festivals and gin celebrations.
