Hawkshead Brewery

About the Pub

At the heart of the vibrant Mill Yard complex of local and artisan businesses, this unusually modern two storey tap bar serves a variety of local tapas and larger meals. Very much a centre of excellence and showcase, this is still the Hawkshead Brewery tap although main production has moved to the Flookburgh site. Always serves a selection from the eleven core beers, plus a varying choice from their small-batch range and craft keg specials. Varied live music every Saturday; Friday is Folk and Acoustic Night. Uplifting fell views from the glazed top lounge and also access to the brewery viewing area housed in the old mill building. Bookable brewery tours. CAMRA and rail-user discounts.

Large and popular beer festivals take place in March and July.

Lots of walking and cycle routes nearby.
