Under this stage of the roadmap in England pubs can only open outdoor areas and many will only be open for customers who have pre-booked. Alcohol can now also be sold for takeaway, as well as delivery.

But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.

If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.

About the Pub

An astonishing selection of artefacts and pictures, a varied menu and open fires - this eclectic hostelry really is a must visit. The 555 bus stops right outside and Staveley is a bustling village with much to offer including the nearby Lakesline railway station. Wide range of interesting beers predominately Cumbrian. Popular quiz on Thursdays. Spacioua private function room and upstairs accommodation. Lovely quiet orchard behind and popular front garden overlooking the confluence of the rivers Gowan and Kent. In summer the delightful riverside garden hosts their beer festivals and in winter the cosy log fires are a welcoming draw. Bus and train friendly.
