About the Pub
Stone built Mid Comfortable Victorian (1859) local situated in quiet residential area. Once a near neighbour of the Royal County Hospital, which has since been centralised in Newport and the site, turned over to housing. Darts, pool and shove h’apenny played regularly. Football big screen, free pool on Tuesdays and live music on Sundays. Street parking only.
