About the Pub
Friendly local with 2 large open plan rooms. There is a lounge style room to the left, which is regularly hired out for functions (capacity 70) and a traditional bar/games room to the right, appointed with wood panelling and dark leather seating. The real ale range was extended to 4 early in 2016. The Pool Team play Wednesdays; Quiz night on Thursdays; Friday live artist from 9:30pm; Saturday Karaoke and Disco from 9:00pm. The Carters' Football Team gather post match on Sundays. Accompanied children welcome until 8pm. Disabled access to rear. Easily accessible on bus from Manchester (204 & 206), Stockport (322 & 324), Hyde (204 & 206) and Ashton (347).
