About the Pub

Opened in September 2018, this micropub occupies what was, until 1965, the brewery tap for Alton Court Brewery, situated just outside the town centre. Serving six real ales from smaller breweries far and wide plus a local cider, it has transformed the choice or real ale in Ross, with beers from over 60 different breweries appearing in the first six months. Consisting of as single, simply furnished room, the Tap does not serve meals, but cobs are available Friday to Sunday.
