Reopened 22nd July. 12-10 every day.

"From this Wednesday 22nd July we will be reopening for eating and drinking onsite. As with most venues, we'll be operating an 'at the table' service and customers will need to follow our (now normal) guidelines for the safety and respect of all. We have a NEW table booking system and recommend that all customers use this to ensure we have the space and time to give you the service you deserve. This will help all of us to plan, organise and to get things right. As you'll see on the table booking system, slots will be time limited and so we request your punctuality, and patience, whilst we all get used to working this way, Cheers and thank you all for your custom and support."

Also, online shop offering Minikegs, bag-in-box and bottles/cans for beers & ciders. Free click & collect 12-8 Wed-Sun or delivery for £4.95. Note that 10 litre/18 pint Bag in Boxes are only available to collect ‘fresh as’ on Thursdays and Fridays.

About the Pub

A micro brewery & brewery tap which opened in late 2017, though the first beers from the 6-barrel brewery weren't available until end of February 2018. Currently the bar serves a continually changing range of at least 4 cask beers (both national, local and on-site brewed) supplemented by wide range of craft beers on tap.

The bar area has an industrial feel with bare brick walls. A railway clock hangs near the bar. The adjoining area is mainly for food which includes a row of table and chairs that come from the first class train compartment with pipework and comic murals of the brewery. Food consists of gourmet burgers. It is also worth a visit to the toilets to see an alternative use for beer kegs!
