NOTICE: Venues need your support more than ever during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
A nationwide lockdown is currently in place in England, and you are required by law to stay at home. Hospitality venues can still provide food takeaway and delivery services, but can only sell alcohol by delivery service.
But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.
If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.

About the Pub
Thatched country pub built in 1939, but the site has had a pub since 1487. The compact wood panelled public bar has an open fire, piano and darts. The larger rustic lounge has a wood-burner, old pictures and antiques including a grandfather clock. The bar serves ales direct from the cask, with at least two guest beers and real cider during the summer.
A continually changing menu features home-cooked locally sourced seasonal food. Outside is a large comfortable covered patio with sofa, that feels like an extension of the pub. Extra seating is also available in the garden. Popular with locals and walkers, whilst dogs are welcomed by the two resident canines. The village is famous for the Tichborne Dole - a traditional festival, where donations of flour are handed out from the front of Tichborne House.
