About the Pub

Re-opened on Friday 23rd December 2016 after a substantial remodelling from the previous traditional pub. Internally the pub is on three levels with the split level bar at the front and middle then through a short corridor & another step to a back room & toilets. D├ęcor is up to date with stripped wood floorboards & wainscoting and pastel grey painted walls. The six handpumps are complemented with bottled beers and 5 craft keg fonts. Non-beer drinkers are also well catered for. Beers are at a premium price but this does not deter the good mix of clientele. Regular live music events (blues/soul), which are sometimes live streamed via the pub's facebook page.
