About the Pub
On entering the pub you are presented by a large bar with a restaurant (doubling as a function room) to the right and a general drinking/eating area at the front and to the right. The pub has contemporary décor with tiled & wood floors. Outside at the rear are steps up to a large decked patio with benches, behind which is a building providing the 7 accommodation rooms. Food consists of a wide range of traditional pub food.
Historic Interest
Grade II listed. Built circa 1843. Originally called 'Army & Navy'. Renamed after Queen Victoria & the Prince Consort visited Netley military hospital & stayed opposite the pub - Prince Albert popped in for a drink.
