About the Pub

Named after a fictitious smuggler, the Thomas Tripp stands in an island formed by a one-way system. It was built in the 1700s, with two storeys and attic dormers, and has a lower, five-bay extension. There is a main bar, and a separate room which can be used for dining or functions. The pub specializes in fresh pizza and calzone, including takeaways, baguettes & light bites also available served most evenings and lunchtimes. Lymington folk club meets here on Wednesday evenings, and there is also live music on Friday and Saturday evenings.
