NOTICE: Venues need your support more than ever during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
A nationwide lockdown is currently in place in England, and you are required by law to stay at home. Hospitality venues can still provide food takeaway and delivery services, but can only sell alcohol by delivery service.
But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.
If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.
Updates
This pub is in Lockdown 3 and therefore closed. Takeaways (excluding alcoholic drinks) and deliveries are permitted but this pub did not do so under Lockdown 2. Please let us know of any updates on this.

About the Pub
This late-Georgian building, with dentilled cornice, pilastered doorway and bay window, was once part of the estate of Devenish brewery (closed 1985). It is now a large and comfortable pub-cum-restaurant. Live music is played one Friday each month. Food is available, with various deals on offer including a 'pie & pint' offer. The pub has a garden to the rear.
Pub was most recently called the Fusion Inn and it closed in this guise 16/12/2016. The pub reopened as the 'Sail Inn' on 24/06/2019 - just the bar on that day, with real ales from Ringwood and Marston's, and the official reopening with full service from 28/06/2019. Much of the description and features listed on this page will be out of date. Please send in any updates.
Historic Interest
Last 17th/early 18th century Grade II listed. Forms a group with West End House (unlisted) and the Thomas Tripp (also Grade II). Historic England list entry 1274776.
