About the Pub
This delightful 'Country Pub', situated on the edge of East Boldre Village, is a dog-walker's haven. Entering past a white picket fence, through a stable door and into a cosy bar, heated in winter by an open log fire. Up to four real ales are available in summer. Home made food is available lunchtimes and evenings, and all day at weekends. The pub walls are covered with former ground workers' tools, plus a unique display of photos & documents dating back to the 1800s. There are 3 en-suite rooms, in the adjacent former stables. The bus service still hangs on, but just three days a week and it takes a bit of planning.
