About the Pub
A chalet-style pub on the south side of the A35, some way east of Ashurst village. The rustic-style interior is split into two by a large brick double-sided fireplace, with a large lounge bar to the right and a raised stone floored eating area to the left. Food consists of a varied home-cooked menu, including light bites, specials board and Sunday roast. Outside is bench seating in the patio area to the left of the pub and in the garden behind it, which includes a children's play area.
