About the Pub

Traditional rural free house dating from 1713 under the same ownership since 1984.  Two distinct bars, a large conservatory, a function room and a very comfortable heated smoking area.  Eight real ales on handpump. Meeting place for a number of local clubs and societies.  Traditional pub games are played including petanque, bar billiards and several forms of darts. The free quiz on a Tuesday evening hosted by the landlord is not for the faint-hearted. Children are not alloewed in the bars or garden. Snacks (pasties/pies etc) available at all times.
