NOTICE: Venues need your support more than ever during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
Under this stage of the roadmap in England pubs can only open outdoor areas and many will only be open for customers who have pre-booked. Alcohol can now also be sold for takeaway, as well as delivery
But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.
If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.

About the Pub
From the car park the dramatic entrance may be found across a bridge, where one can view the millpond to the left with a spillway for overflow and the continuation of the Nailsworth stream to the right. Inside the premises, steps take you down to the bar/restaurant and up to the large function room. The bar is open, bright and sits in a flagstone floored bar area. Though to the restaurant one can view the millwheel.
The North gardens may be found down some steps to the right of the entranceway, past the smoking shelter hidden away in the corner and following the path round the building, following the lead from the Nailsworth Stream. Close to the building may be found a gravelled area with plenty of table/bench combos, then covered areas on the left with further seating and very large grassed area with a shelter halfway down, again on the left. An interesting wooden harp sculpture sits betwixt the two shelters.
The South Gardens which flank the millpond, close to the building a semi-circular patio, then over a bridge where the mill-wheel may be seen to your right and on to the terrace. The back-retaining wall carries impressive iron supported roofing covering a very large area, so it is possible to eat/drink alfresco whilst taking in the scenery. A real fire is provided so even if it is chilly it is possible to enjoy watching the ducks on the millpond.
