About the Pub
Spacious, traditional Free House catering for locals and visitors alike. The pub has two bars and a large skittle alley, which doubles as a Blues venue once a month, and offers a number of games including quoits; a boules pitch is located in the front garden. A small garden is at the rear with sound structure for smokers, from which you can hear passing steam trains on the Dean Forest Railway. Belgian beers are stocked, along with ever changing range of ciders. CAMRA's National Cider & Perry Pub for 2005.
