About the Pub

Large community-friendly Wetherspoon pub with a modern interior and Mackintosh-like wood panelling. Off the main room is a sizeable family-friendly corner and more secluded alcoves. There are three regular and three guest beers, usually from Scottish breweries, sometimes also from further afield. Wednesday mornings there is a toddlers group and the pub hosts special needs barge trips on the adjacent Forth & Clyde Canal. Used by locals, travellers on the canal and Roman Antonine Way, Frequent buses to Glasgow. Alcohol is served after 11am.
