#PullingTogether - Find out more

Notice: Many venues are affected by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and need your support more than ever. Please be aware that restrictions apply in many areas so opening hours may be different to those displayed here, and some venues may be yet to re-open at all. Before visiting, we strongly advise you to call or check its website or social media to avoid disappointment.

Venues in Scotland are subject to special restrictions, which vary across the country. In the Central Belt (Including Arran and parts of the Southern Highlands) all pubs and most other licensed premises will be closed but may still be offering takeaway services. In other areas they can open but can only serve food and non-alcoholic drinks inside from 6.00am to 6.00pm. Alcoholic drinks can however be served in outside areas until 10.00pm. These restrictions are initially imposed until Monday 26th October 2020.

If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.

About the Pub

Situated short distance west of Lithgae Cross the pub was known as the Footballers and Cricketers Arms until an extensive makeover in 2015 with the introduction of six Real Ale taps and it was renamed the Linlithgow Tap. The stained glass panels of footballer and cricketer at the front were replaced by clear glass windows although there is a remaining window depicting a footballer to the side. The only pub in the town to have an island bar, has a map of old Linlithgow on the ceiling. Snacks are available and there is music on Friday and Saturday nights. The pub has now reverted back to its original name.
