About the Pub

The framed deeds date this inn to 1878, with windows etched with the ancient town seal. It is a genuine free house serving two to four real ales. The skittle alley doubles as a function room. No food except bar snacks such as crisps and nuts. Well-behaved dogs are welcome. Opening times may vary, please phone to check.
