About the Pub

The Otter Inn can be difficult to find without a good map or a sat nav, but if you are looking for a lively and family-friendly pub with good, inexpensive food and good beer, then it is worth seeking out. It is a large pub in the village of Weston and it sits by the bridge over the River Otter, with a bar area towards the front and an extensive dining area further back. There is a large car park, which can fill up at busy times, but there is street parking in the quiet village street. People regularly come from miles around for the good-value food. Food is mainly the normal pub dishes, with a carvery every lunch 12-2.30, Sunday’s all day and Friday and Saturday nights, booking is recommended for the carvery lunches. There is a Pensioner Concession Monday to Friday lunchtimes. There is a large garden for the warmer weather with plenty of room for the children to run around, but keep an eye on them near the river, although it has gently sloping banks and is not deep here. Cask Marque certification and a steady turnover mean that the ales are normally in good condition.
