About the Pub

Renovated to a high standard this micro pub has the feel of a 'Station' bar and tea shop. Attractively decorated with comfortable benches and seating. It has up to six gravity beers on offer as well as offering four to eight ciders. It will provide an ideal stop off for travellers using the station or a cosy local to passers by. Bar snacks, freshly made sandwiches, savouries and hot drinks are available throughout the day. The pub name reflects nearby Long Eaton railway station's former name. On bank holiday Mondays the pub opens from 12-9. GBG 2021

Historic Interest

This build was originally a 3-floor branch of the Midland Bank. In the 1940s the top floor (a flat) was removed and in the early 1960s it was subject to an armed robbery which was featured on regional television. In the 1970s it was rendered and painted (as seen today). It had been a cob shop and various off-licences after that before laying dormant for a few years up until the pub's opening.
