About the Pub
Reverted to original name after spell as 'Pickled Newt'. Also known as The Mids.
Following the ACV listing, the new owners ( property developers EEH Estates Ltd) withdrew their plans for demolition of the pub and are in the process of producing new plans which seem likely to take the form of a Trojan Horse development....private residential dwellings above, loss of outside amenities, and etc,etc....The battle continues.....
The pub is like a tardis; main bar area at the front with a larger room behind. Then a big beer garden and decking plus a covered area at the back. Classic cars are often on the forecourt!
