Originally two cottages converted to a pub in about 1858 and one of the oldest drinking establishments in Leytonstone Village Conservation Area. The public bar has a small serving hatch and the saloon has a long single bar with five handpumps. Thai Food evenings and weekends. Local CAMRA branch pub of the year 2019.
