Pub reopened on 8.10.20 under new tenants and will be open throughout the current restrictions as per the updated details shown. As well as weekend brunches (served 10-12), meals are served Wed-Sat 12-8 (last entry 7pm) & Sun 12-5, with takeaway pizzas a further option. About the Pub
There is definitely a local feel at this quaint traditional Inn at the end of the village and situated between Melrose and Selkirk. Near the Ale Water, fishing is close by and the pub is popular with cyclists and walkers, being on an official route, plus locals and horses are never far away either! Plans to increase the food offering are in place and an alternative to the cosy indoor spaces is the covered area at the front entrance.
Major plans for 2021 to develop the outdoor space at the rear into a BBQ and patio area, including a purpose built bar
