Notice: Venues need your support more than ever during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

Under level three of the roadmap in Scotland, pubs can open indoor areas for food and non-alcoholic drinks, while alcohol can only be served in outdoor areas. Many pubs will only be open for customers who have pre-booked.

But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.

If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.

About the Pub

A well-appointed, award-winning, gastro-pub surrounded by woodland, adjacent to the River South Esk and overlooked by the impressive 23-span Waverley line viaduct. The front area is for dining and is divided in to two areas. It has a real fire and a tasteful mixture of exposed stone, papered walls, wooden floors and carpets. There is a more modern-styled bar area for drinkers and to the rear a coffee shop with various food stalls and glass doors opening out on to the garden. Full meals are served all day on Sunday until 7pm. Breakfast is served until 11am during the week.

NOTE: Alcoholic drinks are served from 11am. May close earlier if quiet.
