Notice: Venues need your support more than ever as they recover following the pandemic.

Most of Scotland is currently at level one or two, and the restrictions in place will depend on the area you are in. Many pubs will only be open for customers who have pre-booked.

But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.

If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.

About the Pub

A comfortable, friendly local with a vibrant Borders atmosphere. Originating circa 1792, the pub has been altered considerably over the years and comprises one long single room, decorated with a large inked map of the area. Three TVs ensure the pub is busy during sporting events and there are occasional live music sessions. Very much a community hub with locally arranged golf, horse racing and fishing outings. Children are not allowed.

NOTE: There may be two changing real ales at weekends.
