About the Pub

JUNE 2019 - Has reopened. 3 handpumps serving real ale.

APRIL 2019 - CLOSED on 6 April for a 6 week refurbishment...… details will be updated once reopened.

FEB 2019 - Under new management

Attractive, comfortable pub set in an historic village now absorbed by the city. Light coloured wood gives the bar a bright airy feel. The lounge and restaurant have darker décor and windows that overlook the garden and Colinton Dell. Meals are freshly prepared and served all day, a speciality being a range of pies. The pub makes an ideal stop when walking the Water of Leith path. Children are welcome for meals.

NOTE: Return Trays (AKA Autovacs /Beer Economisers) in use.
