About the Pub

Comfortable village local, just five miles from central Edinburgh. It caters for all tastes having different areas for either a quiet drink, a meal or a game of pool accompanied by music. The walls are decorated with old photographs along with a possible explanation of the origin of the village name. There is also a conservatory restaurant, with an unusual bottle-shaped well by the entrance. Meals served all day, but just breakfast until noon. Scottish Hospitality Pub of the Year 2018 and Best Bar None Midlothian 2018 and 2019.

NOTE: Alcoholic drinks are served from 11am
