About the Pub

A village local, built 1728, overlooking the green and retaining the original outbuildings once used for stabling horses. The small bar is half wood panelled and the real fire gives it a cosy feel in winter. Pictures and memorabilia decorate the walls. The rear lounge has a coffee house feel. An upstairs dining room is used in the evening. The courtyard offers sheltered out door drinking and is the smoking area. Children's menu, games and play area are provided.

NOTE: Evening meals must be booked in advance.
