About the Pub

The Duke of Clarence has been a free house for the last 8 years formerly a Green King public house. Situated on Mansfield Road its your typical old fashioned local pub. It has a comfortable and friendly atmosphere and you are made to feel welcome by the landlady and staff plus the happy bunch of locals who use the pub. Certainly worth a visit as you pass in or out of the city. Well looked after beer at a reasonable prices Three regular ales on the sticks and always one guest sourced from local micro brewery’s or from around the country. Darts & Dominoes are available. It also has a beer garden to the side.
