About the Pub

The left-hand bar parlour of this fine Gray’s pub is on CAMRA’s Regional Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors, being virtually unchanged for 100 years. There is a totally contrasting modern lounge bar and separate restaurant. Food available lunchtimes and evenings Tue-Fri, all day Sat, and until 5 pm Sun. No food Mon. Both bars have a real fire. Children and dogs welcome. Large garden with children’s playground. Disabled facilities.

Historic Interest

A visit to the small 'Bar Parlour' is a must to see a very rare country pub public bar virtually unchanged for 100 years.
