About the Pub

Dronfield CAMRA Pub of the Season (Summer 2013), Cider Pub of the Year (2014) and overall Pub of the Year for 2014 and 2015.

A constantly changing range of cask beers and traditional cider/perries are a feature of this popular pub.

The Traveller's Rest, sometimes referred to by its nickname of the 'Corner Pin'. is a traditional country pub at the edge of the village. The outdoor drinking area provides sweeping views over the Drone Valley - one of the best views in Derbyshire.

Good quality food is available at all times, with the cheese platters and pork pies being noteworthy. A comprehensive Wednesday night Bistro has become particularly popular. Live music features strongly, with jazz on most Mondays of each month.
