About the Pub
Delightful traditional stone built country pub with the main bar and small separate room. Closed for several months and feared it would be turned into a private residence, members of the local community bought it and reopened it as a pub. The beer garden is especially popular with families in summer.
Sunday Lunches, available from 12 Noon to 4 pm were introduced in October 2018.
Pete and Sarah (ex. Travellers Rest at Apperknowle) took over the tenancy in late 2017. As of mid-November 2017.
