About the Pub

A traditional, unspoilt village local, just as pubs used to be - no music or games machines, just conversation and banter, and a roaring open fire through the Winter. The main room, served by a single bar, leads to two smaller rooms for quieter drinking. Up to six cask ales maily from local microbreweries. Identified by CAMRA as having a regionally important historic pub interior. Reopened June 2021 after a period of closure by an enthusiastic new tenant. The Coach House 'house beer' will be developed based on feedback with forms available for customers trying the trial blends, which will eventually result in the selection of the house beer.
