About the Pub

Modern venue situated in the red-brick former post office, a stone throw from the Bridgewater canal. Its well-lit bar is complemented by a tastefully-decorated front room with subdued lighting, comfy armchairs and wood-fired stove. Four changing cask ales are either from the microbrewery under the pub or nearby Dunham Massey, and include at least one other dark beer such as porter or stout. Renowned local pies are always available. Free wi-fi and newspapers to wile away the day. Quality cask ale in a pleasant environment.
